Creating a Registry File
Introduction
Overview
Creating a registry file is how you prepare a list of recipients and send it to the FSPFinancial Service Provider. The FSPFinancial Service Provider can then use the list to provide bank accounts or mobile numbers for the listed recipients.
Who is responsible for Creating a Registry File?
Programme is normally responsible for creating a registry file. Check with your Country Office to confirm who in Programme is responsible in your country.
Why is Creating a Registry File important?
Individuals who do not have a bank account or mobile number in their registration data cannot be approved as beneficiaries for interventions that use those token types for the delivery mechanism. Registry files are how FSPs provide mobile numbers and bank accounts to individuals so that they can be approved as beneficiaries.
What do I need to do before Creating a Registry File?
Before you can create a registry file, you must have enrolled the beneficiaries you need in the intervention.
