Creating a Payment List
Introduction
Overview
Creating a payment list records the total transfer value to beneficiaries for an intervention in SCOPE and provides detailed information on the administrative areas where these funds will be distributed.
Who is responsible for creating a payment list?
Programme is normally responsible for creating a payment list. Check with your Country Office to confirm who in Programme is responsible in your country.
Why is creating a payment list important?
Creating a payment list begins the process of reporting the total value to be transferred to beneficiaries during an intervention, making it an essential part of WFPWorld Food Programme's accounting process for assistance distributed using SCOPE.
What do I need to do before creating a payment list?
Before you can create a payment list, you must ensure the corresponding distribution list (DL) for the intervention has been verified.
You must also ensure that master data for the intervention has been set up, which involves the following:
- Creating delivery mechanisms and partners
- Registering a financial service provider (FSPFinancial Service Provider) to execute the transfer
- Registering the Programme Officer responsible for receiving the Payment Advice File (PAFPayment Advice File)
