FAQs

SCOPE is WFPWorld Food Programme World Food Programme’s beneficiary information and transfer management platform. For a full definition, see Introduction.
Logging In

Go to https://scope.wfp.org/ in your browser. For logging in instructions, see Logging In.

First gather as much information as possible to help you describe the problem, then contact SSD by sending an email to scope.servicedesk@wfp.org. Is SCOPE loading? Can you access the login page? Are you getting an error message? The more information you can provide, the easier it will be for SSD to fix your issue.
For logging in instructions, see Logging In.

A user account which has not been used to log in to SCOPE for a period of 3 months or longer is defined as dormant.

Please contact SSD by sending an email to scope.servicedesk@wfp.org to find out why your account is inactive. You may need to complete a SCOPE User Form and send it to the SCOPE Service Desk (SSD) to activate your account.
You can download the SCOPE User Form by logging in to the WFPWorld Food Programme VPN and clicking here. For more information on completing the SCOPE User Form, see Instructions.

Reset your password in the login page. For instructions, see Logging In.
Creating a Project

Contact your regional SCOPE Business Transformation Officer (BTO) for advice.
Registering People's Identities

Data that is uploaded is first stored in a staging area. This data must then be pushed to PROD for it to be viewable. Please confirm that SSD has pushed the data.
If the data has already been pushed and you still cannot see it, check with SSD whether some of the data was rejected from SCOPE and for what reasons.

Download the app here and install it on your computer or Android device.

Use WFPWorld Food Programme FTP. Ask your SCOPE focal point to upload the data for you, your focal point should have the FTP credentials. If they do not have the credentials, ask them to contact SSD by sending an email to scope.servicedesk@wfp.org.
Setting Up a Delivery Mechanism

No. You should set up a new intervention. For instructions, see Setting Up an Intervention.
Approving a Payment List

You must create a separate distribution and payment list for the additional beneficiaries. Then, you must process both sets of distribution and payment lists.

Release notes will be sent out by email from SSD at the time of each new release. You can also access the SCOPE End User Notes, listing the new features and improvements here.

No, you must contact SSD by sending an email to scope.servicedesk@wfp.org to get a ticket for your issue, after which it will be prioritised and assigned to an analyst. SSD analysts will not work on any issue without a ticket. Note that it is not guaranteed that your issue will receive a ticket.

The response time is within one hour after you have raised a ticket.
The resolution time depends on the priority (P) of the ticket:
- P1: 2-4 hours
- P2: 4-24 hours
- P3: 8-72 hours
- P4: 5 working days
- P5: 10 working days
The highest priority is P1 and the lowest is P5. The priority is set by SSD with defined matrices.

If you have access to vFire, you can search for your ticket number and check the status of your ticket. Otherwise, please contact SSD for a ticket status update by sending an email to scope.servicedesk@wfp.org.

First, check the spam folder in your email account to make sure you have not received a ticket number. If you have not received one, contact SSD by sending an email to scope.servicedesk@wfp.org and ask to confirm your ticket number.

Tickets awaiting feedback for more than 5 days are closed regardless of whether or not the problem is resolved. Unfortunately, you took too long to respond. Please raise a new ticket.

At times there may be delays in generating invoices, so please allow an hour's time for the invoice to arrive. If 24 hours have passed since you created the invoice, contact SSD by sending an email to scope.servicedesk@wfp.org for further help. You can also confirm with SSD that the email you have used to generate the invoice is correct for your account.

Check if there are some transactions marked for adjudication.
