Registry Files
Delivery mechanisms that use mobile numbers and bank accounts as the token type require recipients to have a mobile number or bank account. If they do not have this data, they cannot be approved as enrolments. Registry files allow the FSPFinancial Service Provider to provide mobile numbers and bank accounts in bulk to beneficiaries in SCOPE. SCOPE allows you to securely send a spreadsheet of recipients to the FSPFinancial Service Provider Representative for the delivery mechanism. Once the FSPFinancial Service Provider Representative has updated the file, they can upload the file back to SCOPE and the recipient data can be updated.
Managing registry files consists of the following processes:
-
This involves creating a registry file that contains all the enrolments that are missing data and securely sending it to the FSPFinancial Service Provider Representative.
-
Updating the registry file
The FSPFinancial Service Provider Representative updates the registry file they received with bank accounts or mobile numbers and securely uploads it to SCOPE using the link in the registry file email.
-
This involves importing the data from the completed registry file into SCOPE and updating the recipient data.
