Beneficiaries
Registered identities of people are managed in SCOPE to ensure that they become beneficiaries and receive the right entitlements. To do this, beneficiaries must be enrolled to interventions.
Managing beneficiaries consists of the following processes:
-
Adding households and individual household members (as well as recipients and alternates) to an intervention so that they can receive benefits and entitlements from the intervention.
-
For some Country Offices, once individuals have been enrolled in an intervention they need to be verified before they can be approved as a beneficiary by a senior staff member.
-
Checking that the correct beneficiaries have been enrolled to prevent mistakes. In keeping with the Segregation of Duties policy, this step should be performed by a separate user in an appropriate user role.
-
Removing beneficiaries from interventions. This prevents them from receiving any further benefits and entitlements from the intervention.
