Adjudication (Case) Page
This section details the Adjudication (case) page used when performing Basic adjudication. It details how to use the fields and buttons when adjudicating cases.
- Score: This is the match score assigned by ABIS from its analysis of the beneficiary data. The higher the value, the more likely the identities are duplicates. You only need to adjudicate identities with values between 50 and 150.
- Hit: Hits are existing identities in the SCOPEdatabase that ABIS has identified as being similar to the Probe Identity. The hit number shows which identity you are looking out of the total number of matches.
- Hit navigation buttons: These allow you to switch between the different hits. Examine all hits when adjudicating. The probe identity may be a match for none, one, or all hits.
- Photos: For Basic adjudication, this is the main way to compare identities. Click on the photo to open up the Face Comparison Page.
- Subject ID: This is the Subject ID. This ID number is assigned to the identity by ABIS. You can use this to find the identity on the ABIS system again, if required.
- Name: This is the name given when the identity was registered in SCOPE. In many cases, people registering attempting to register multiple times will use different details. However, in some may cases, they may register in different locations using the same details.
- Birthdate: This is the birth date given when the identity was registered in SCOPE. In many cases, people who attempt to register multiple times will use different details. However, in some may cases, they may register in different locations using the same details.
- Sex: For duplicated identities this value should be the same in almost all cases.
- Fingerprints: Fingerprints are used to compare identities if the pictures or details are not enough to decide. Click on a fingerprint to open the Fingerprint Comparison Page.
